Deborah Hill is the Director of Communications for the Pratt School of Engineering, one of Duke’s two undergraduate schools. She is responsible for external communications of Pratt’s research and teaching programs and day to day communications within the school. She is a member of the National Association of Science Writers and the American Society for Engineering Education.
Richard Merritt is a Senior Public Relations Specialist for the Pratt School. He serves as the science writer and lead media specialist for the school. Merritt has more than 20 years of experience as a science writer, covering a wide range of medical and technology sciences. Merritt is a member of the National Association of Science Writers.
William (Corky) Safley is a Senior Programmer for the Pratt School. He maintains the school's web infrastructure, servers and email system. In addition, Safley has a degree in mathematics and physics and a passion for astronomy.
