Deborah Hill is the Director of Communications for the Pratt School of Engineering, one of Duke’s two undergraduate schools. She is responsible for media relations and news promotion of Pratt’s research and teaching programs. Previously, she was Communications Program Liaison for the Energy and Environmental Sciences division of the Department of Energy’s Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory, covering physics, materials science, geoscience, biotechnology, and chemistry. She is a member of the National Association of Science Writers, and the American Medical Writer’s Association.
