1 Tenure Track Professor position, 2 Professor of the Practice Positions
The Pratt School of Engineering is launching a research and education initiative focused on energy and the environment. The school is immediately hiring three endowed faculty lines to support its Energy and Environment Initiative effort, and to augment existing faculty. The successful candidates for these positions will be appointed to one of our four engineering departments-- biomedical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, electrical and computer engineering, or mechanical engineering and materials science--depending upon research and teaching interests. Joint and secondary appointments within the Pratt School, and with other schools or departments at Duke are encouraged. The initiative will encompass both research and education, particularly at the undergraduate level—and will be highly interdisciplinary, bringing expertise from many disciplines to bear on energy and environmental problems.
